Easter Project - Edible Egg Nest

Here is a project I saw in Better Homes & Gardens and used as an Easter dinner decoration for each place setting.  Edible bird's nest made out of chocolate covered crunchy chow mein noodles with three same-colored Jordan almonds.


Ingredients:
Nestle's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips  (1 bag - 12 oz.)
Nestle's Butterscotch Chips  (1/2 bag - 6 oz.)
Chow Mein Noodle  (1 lg. bag)

Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips over low heat or in a double broiler.  Once chocolate is melted, add chow mein noodles and stir until noodles are coated with chocolate.


Work quickly before chocolate hardens and shape into bird's nests,
leaving an indent in the middle for candies.

Fill with three same-colored Jordan almonds
