Party Banners

We had a casual outdoor dinner to celebrate Lori's birthday in August, and in hopes to make the birthday girl feel special in her own backyard, I made a colorful banner, and added balloons to match.

 

I used 8-1/2 x 11" text weight paper, strung the sheets together with pink ribbon, having cut slits at the top corners of each sheet of paper.  After printing large colored letters on white copy paper, I cut the letters into circles and adhered them to the banner paper with double-sided tape.

Lori's patio feels like the W Hotel, and the lighting was amazing that evening.

There's nothing like balloons and a colorful banner to make any dinner become a celebration!
